Recently, I have been designated to help students with difficulties in English . I met my first batch two weeks ago, a group of five ladies students aged between 20 -30 . We met informally in the cafeteria and I asked them what their problem was. Most of them come from Traditional educational background and they have problem in reading and understanding words in English.

So I asked them what they like doing at the week- end and they replied , “ shopping in the Malls” So I asked them to take a small note-book every time they go shopping and write down notices then try to read them and look up difficult words in the dictionary.

One student had a better idea . She took pictures with her cell phone and did a great job ( in attached ). Of course I couldn’t hide my enthusiasm and sent her work to her English teacher, my supervisor and my director and guess what? She has been added to the list of students AWARDS ( end of April ) for the best study skills Award. I’m happy for her.

Al Wahda Mall

On Saturday at 28\3\2009, I went to Al WAHDA MALL in Abu Dhabi. It was a wonderful mall. There are many of posters guide to help us to shopping easily. The posters guide was in English and Arabic. I started taking photograph for it. Then, I wrote the new English words to strengthen my English.
