The poem is a spoof on `The Wreck Of The Hesperus` by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow
(www.poetryfoundation.org/poems/44654/the-wreck-of-the-hesperus).

`Emberek of the Hearse Bearers`, is multilingual because `emberek` means `men` in Hungarian, while `heat` sounds like the Hungarian word for `faith`, etc. However, it`s quite funny poem as it is.

Emberek Of The Hearse Bearers

Emberek of the Hearse Bearers,
Rode the summer sea;
With a mien ever cloudier,
And a daughter who wasn`t his, Key.

Her eyes were Greece as the fairy Ajax,
Her cheeks like the crack of dawn,
And her breasts pink as the swee` peas,
That `ope in the mouth of May.

`Yes` erday was a golden wring,
The clouds were weeping slow!
`Rek got string from a local
Spar supermarket - bound her to his toe.

A Greek sea peach at dawn,
A fisherman`s trousers` half mast,
Observed her bod` and her virgin`s hair,
Flashed on a roiling spar.

The salt was heat upon her bust,
The sweat burned on her lid;
And her hair blonde to no one,
As her pillows fell and rose.

Emberek of the Hearse Bearers,
In the moon and - `Yes, snow!
Christ saved us all for a death like his,
By the teeth of Emberek`s toe!`

- O` Bin Brighter
