Humanising Language Teaching
Year 1; Issue 1; February 1999

Editorial

Welcome to the first issue of HUMANISING LANGUAGE TEACHING.

We intend to appear 8 times a year or approximately every 6 weeks.

Each issue will carry a couple of lesson plans you can use right away in class.

Each issue will carry a STUDENT VOICE, since students are our best trainers.

Each issue will carry a major article in the area of humanistic thinking- this issue it's Paul Davis making a clear distinction between teacher training and teacher development.

We want the magazine to become interactive so please send me your articles and letters.

The humanistic movement is gathering strength and this new Pilgrims initiative is a further sign of the times.

The magazine succeeds if it becomes a genuine humanistic forum.

Finally, if you would like to be notified each time a new issue of Humanising Language Teaching is published, you can join the mailing list by clicking here.
