Macbeth as a Comics

Aleksandra Rydz, Poland

Macbeth is really a drama, but not everyone likes reading such books. The ETI had a great idea and they have published Macbeth in comics form. I really liked the idea of reading Macbeth as a comics. There is a lot of people who prefer to read comics than books.

They couldn’t illustrate whole book, but they share with us the main thought. Macbeth is a brutal story and not everyone can read it. There are murders in comics too, but in this one we cannot see any brutality. I think that all these murders are important to show how Macbeth has changed from the beginning to the end.

I really liked the pictures in that book I think that the graphic designers is very talented. The colours are deep colour, very dark but they are important to create atmosphere.

In my opinion the best characters were the three witches. I know that they are bad, but I really liked them because in comics they are green and they stand out.

The language of this comics isn’t really difficult. There are a few hard words but it was very easy to understand from the context.

I think that the book is great for everyone, even for people who are not comics fans. You can have great fun reading it. I really liked it and I recommend it to everybody.
