Intent
Where the Secret lies
Great Mystery

Intent

Once you’re clear about what you want to do
And you cut out all the distractions
Then all the doorways open

Work out what’s most important to you
And go for it
That it would not necessarily be
What others would choose
Is of no concern to you

At the same time, make a point of stopping, though,
to gather the lavender along the way
And to savour the sweetness inherent in life
For if it is only hard work you seek
All else you value will be gone before you know it

Where the Secret lies

The secret lies in the realization
You have been asking the wrong question
For asking which direction to take serves no purpose
There is only one, the one towards your death,
And what matters is what you do on that path
Whose lives you touch in a beneficial way
And the way you spend the time you have been blessed with
In other words, how you prepare for the only destiny that knowingly awaits you

Great Mystery

Thank you for giving me Life
And don’t let me waste it
Help me to make good use of my time
Help me to learn from my mistakes and not to repeat them
Help me to appreciate what I have
And not to take it for granted

Help me to step outside situations of conflict
And to view them dispassionately
So I can act effectively
Help me to be like the wind and let conflict blow through me
Help me to be like the sea and let conflict wash over me
Help me to be like the scales – in balance
