Tailor-made Group Courses at Pilgrims

Every year Pilgrims is very proud to host groups of teachers from The Netherlands, groups from Austria and many other countries. These folk come to Canterbury where we have prepared a tailor-made course especially for them.

In the Autumn, Winter and Spring they can chose to stay in a carefully selected local host family or in one of the many beautiful guesthouses or hotels Canterbury has to offer. For groups that come during the months of July and August, the accommodation is on the campus at the University of Kent where our thriving Summer School is held.

These “Special Group” courses are designed to really meet the needs of a particular school or some other group of teachers that work together throughout the year and have proven more and more popular over the past few years.

Not only is the content of the course tailor-made by a Pilgrims Trainer, the actual length of the course is entirely up to the group as well. Some groups come for one week, others for two or more weeks. There are lessons during the day and evening activities to chose from too. Whenever possible, we also try to arrange a visit to a local school where you can observe some classes in action!
