Guiding lights
Memories
Innocence shattered
The speed of life
Silent snow

Guiding lights

It was a warm summer night,
the silhouette of a young girl
outlined by the light of the moon,
stood in awe by the seashore,
admiring the glittering beauty of the stars.
Thousands of silver coated jewels
lighted the black sky,
making it glow and shine
since the beginning of time.
Guided by their sparkling brilliance,
the girl moved on……
walking barefooted on the white sandy beach,
feeling as if….she were transported to heaven.
A sudden urge compelled her
to reach out and touch,
so close they were,
to discern their magic.
Eternal looked,
the guiding lights,
reminding the girl,
that some things never die.

Memories

Our life is full of loving memories,
that will linger in our minds forever.
Even as we grow older,
we'll remember those special times
we shared with our loved ones.
Cherished memories
make our hearts soar and sing,
and appreciate the little things.
Through time and space,
our memories will never fade,
but will keep us company
till the end of our days.

Innocence shattered

In the stillness of the night,
I heard a muffled cry.
Feet hurrying through the shadows,
trying to find a hiding place.
Hearts beating like thunder,
while fear tears the soul apart.
Children's cries echo in the distance,
frozen in time, frozen in place.
Eyes that plead,
limbs that tremble,
Innocence shattered,
lost forever.

The speed of life

We rush about like frantic pawns,
taken by the madly pace of daily life.
Too engrossed in ourselves,
we let our thoughts multiply copiously
and spiral out of control.
We live our days filled to the brim,
as we struggle to squeeze everything in.
Our habitual, frenzied thinking
doesn't leave us, space for anything.
And as we yearn for peace and silence
we only get lost in an endless maze.
Let's instead focus on the present moment,
and as our thoughts flow like a river,
we'll slowly adjust to the speed of life.

Silent snow

The night was cold and silent,
the snow was falling,
covering the earth
with its silver mantle.
Down, down,
came the snowflakes,
so pale, so soft, so pure,
forming precious crystals
sinking down the sleeping trees.
The world was sound asleep,
lulled by the song of the northern wind.
Nothing moved,
nothing stirred,
all was still.
For a time I stood in wonder,
as I listened to the silent snow
and embraced the beauty of the moment.
