Human Monster

January 2018 marks the 200th anniversary of the publication of Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein – we have two new worksheets from Naples-based contributors, the city of Victor Frankenstein’s birth. These are appropriate for both the doctor and his creation…

Human – Rag n Bone Man
One of last year’s biggest selling singles and a favourite in this year’s Roadshow, this worksheet written by Roy Boardman looks at Phonetics.

Monster Mash – Bobby “Boris” Pickett
Narrated by Doctor Frankenstein, this fun worksheet summited by regular contributor Mena Bianco looks at the Past Simple with a monster dance party.

New Downloadable Worksheets

Dreams – The Cranberries
This worksheet was put online in the days following the tragic news of the death of Dolores O’Riordan - regular contributor Mena Bianco has prepared a worksheet for her band’s debut single, looking at phonetics and pronunciation. Also appropriate for Valentine’s Day, Dolores wrote this song about her first love.

No One To Call – Caitlin Rose
The 13th February is World Radio Day – this song is about how the radio never plays the songs you want to hear and the worksheet with vocabulary and collocations activities was submitted by Maria Gulczynska, Ancona.

Ed Sheeran Special

Ed Sheeran is the biggest selling artist of recent years and this month we publish two worksheets from his last album, and (appropriately for St. Patrick’s Day.

Galway Girl – Ed Sheeran
This worksheet, by regular contributor Mena Bianco, looks at the Past Simple using a crossword.

Perfect – Ed Sheeran
