Thanks Hania,
Just one small point for future reference, the books can be used by native speakers and in fact have been used in colleges in the UK. The language is graded but the content is applicable to any level above B1.
Best wishes,
Rod

Hi Hania
The magazine I told you about is now online: www.eltmag.com
The marketing dept at uni did it in the end as downloadable pdf - the website redirects automatically to the unitec website . Let me know what you think of it I think you said you could publicise it - if you could I'd be very grateful !

Dear All
I'm writing now as the training support network for teachers and trainers of soft skills and business English is now live at last. It's available at www.unimenta.com
We are in a "pre-launch" phase in that right now we are interested in getting as many training providers and teachers registered as possible so that they can tell us more about what they want and what sort of support they'd like.
The idea and aim of Unimenta (and you can hear/see Emma-Sue Price speaking more about this on my video cast on the site) is to provide coherent, cost-effective and quality support which will make teachers' and trainers' lives a lot easier! It's a subscription based service and users get support and consultancy from the moment they subscribe. They can access materials (anything from a one-off lesson plan to a complete course package) comprising attractive PP slides, lesson plans, handouts and activities for use in their teaching. We also offer professional development via interactive webinars (so much more cost-effective than face-to-face) - the webinars are also anything from a one-off session to packages of professional development, and of course full postgraduate teacher training qualification.
Please do have a look, pass this on to others in your network, and encourage as many to register as possible whilst we are in this pre-launch phase. They'll benefit from doing this as we'll know better what they want and they'll get lots of discounts!
I look forward to hearing from you and really interested to know what you think of the site!

Dear English Teacher,
It's that time of year again! Stores, shops and malls are already starting to fill up with pumpkins, skeletons and witches. Love it or hate it there is no getting away from the ancient British festival of . . . Halloween!
So what to do if your English class ask for a Halloween activity? Well here is an easy solution that your kids will appreciate - and it will really help their English too!
Download and teach Charles Goodger's action song On Halloween. The song also comes with 9 graded worksheets for free photocopy. The action song package costs just €4.99. All FunSongs downloads come with a receipt so you can get a refund from your school.
You might be interested in organizing a FunSongs Christmas Show with mother-tongue actors at your school. At the moment FunSongs can offer its shows to schools in Italy and Latvia - so if you live there please contact us immediately for details!
Latvia: FunSongs SIA, call Steffi on 26443299
Italy: C.A.I.L., call Valentina on 328 9120000
We wish you all the best with your teaching endeavors - and Happy Halloween!
