It's spring!
It's a time to say goodbye
to long dark nights
and say hello to long light days.

It's the time to put away
heavy coats and woolly gloves
and put on T-shirts and shorts
and pretty dresses.

It's spring!
It's the season
when flowers bloom,
when flowers paint gardens
with bright colours,
when flowers paint the countryside
with vibrant colours.

It's the season
when trees burst into leaf
and clothe their branches;

when bees buzz around
and birds fly around
and collect moss and twigs
to build nests;

when the sun climbs high
and feels warm on your face
and your back.

It's spring!
