Dear HLT magazine readers,

I wonder if you know about HLT's sister magazine, The Teacher Trainer Journal? It is a great journal so below are some answers to frequently asked questions

What is The Teacher Trainer Journal?

It's a practical journal of some 32-36 pages.that comes out three times a year with a colour cover. It's been going 16 years now!

Who is it for?

ANYONE who helps, guides, mentors, trains educates TESOL teachers or who is thinking of moving into this kind of work. You may do this as part or all of your job

How can you get involved?

-contribute articles, letters, on any aspect of teacher training
-subscribe to receive it regularly
-advertise your books, courses, conferences and other products in the journal
-tell us about your friends so we can help them to find out about it

What is in it?

Articles, cartoons and letters on topics such as observing teachers, giving feedback on their work, giving workshops to teachers, designing TT courses, setting up resources for teachers, plus descriptions of useful books and conferences, the voices of trainees, useful articles about parallel fields and lots more…

How much does it cost?

To subscribe, £25 pa (very reasonable for a dedicated, specialist international journal)
To advertise, very, very competitive prices (refer to web site below )

What is its overall style?

Practical, thought- provoking, written by fellow professionals, clear, accessible, non- academic with dashes of humour and definitely iconoclastic!

Who is the editor?

Tessa Woodward, a language teacher and teacher trainer at Hilderstone College, Broadstairs Kent. She writes books and articles and presents at conferences internationally.
