I'm Teresa Almeida d'Eca based in Portugal, a retired EFL teacher. I wrote an article for your magazine several years ago when Mario Rinvolucri was still in charge.
I have just read Ruben Correia's article, "Classroom Anxiety and Young Language Learners". It's very interesting and there are a couple of things I'd like to comment with him, as well as send him a work I wrote back in 1995 and self-published on my website several years ago.
Is it possible to give me his email address? I think we have lots in common and that he'd enjoy what I have to show him.
I could write for HLT about my Pronunciation Made Easy (for Portuguese-speaking learners of English) e-dictionary, which I self-published in September 2014. It's based on a strategy that bridges the L1 and the L2. It worked wonders with hundreds of students of mine. And I've been wondering if it works for other native languages and English. Do you think you could help me with feedback about the use of sounds of your language to teach English pronunciation?
