Restaurant – game

Anna Sofie Pedersen, Denmark

Vocabulary: Fast food – Drinks – Fruit.

Materials: Cards with pictures of food, drinks, and fruit. A card for each student.

Give each student a picture-card. It might be a good idea to write the words on the board. The students have to collect as many cards as possible by asking each other.

Dialogue:

    A: Can I help you?
    B: Yes. Can I have a hamburger, please?
    A: Here you are.
    B: Thank you.

    B: Can I help you?
    A: Yes. Can I have a glass of orange juice, please?
    B. Sorry, I haven't got any orange juice.
    A: OK! Bye
    B: Bye

Stop the exercise after 5 or ten minutes.
