Oh Bother, Brother

submitted by Marta Kędzierska, Poland

In a primary class the teacher introduces new words from the lexical set: family. She writes the word ‘brother’ on the blackboard and explains to her learners that ‘ brother’ is a difficult word because the way you write the letters in the word is different from way the you say/read them.

So Kacper comments:

“Indeed, my brother is also difficult. This is what my mum says. But this means all brothers are difficult.”
