Definitely, degree!

Ha Nguyen, Australia

PhD, oh Ph.D!
What, oh what, have you done to me?
Not a thing
That ever gets done;
Never any time
Ever to have fun.

More changeable than a husband,
Less manageable than a child.
Too tricky to be a mum,
Too wordy to be a dad -
No you are not
Any of my kin.

I don't even like you;
I can't even define you -
But you've turned my world upside down
And all my thoughts inside out.

Oh, Doctor of Philosophy,
Though you have pretty much become me,
How on earth shall I ever become free?
