Visualise a regular series of numbers, eg 7, 14, 21. Try to see the whole series of numbers and make them present to yourself.
Turn to a partner and tell them how the figures looked- colour, black and white? Large, small?
What colour background?
- Describe to a partner all the people you saw yesterday, including ones in the newspapers. What
did these people look like, how did they move, what were they wearing?
- Close your eyes and hum a tune you know well. Notice all the inner pictures the tune brings to
mind. Tell a partner about these pictures.
- Write down the English words for 12 ways animals make noise…..neigh, bark, cackle and then
describe to a partner the pictures you got of the animals and their surroundings.
- Write a list of 12 sounds water makes eg: roars, laps etc…. Tell a partner about any pictures that
came to you as you wrote.
- Think of a childhood room you knew well. Describe it in detail to a partner.
